Crabs also are omnivores. They consume both animal and plant matter. They feed on various kinds of worms, algae, and even Mollusks. The diverse diets they eat depend on their surroundings and the nature of the food they obtain. For instance, saltwater crabs feed on babies turtles, and even the carcasses of sea animals and birds were washed up on shores.
