Drawing in the arm muscles is fairly simple once you have developed an understanding of the cylinders (especially when drawing skinny arms). The biggest challenge during this step is drawing in the shoulder, pay close attention to how the shoulder muscle wraps around the top sphere.

 

To draw the human body, you must know the proportions of the arms. The arm can be divided into three parts. The first part goes from the shoulder to the elbow. The second part goes from the elbow to the wrist. The third part goes from the wrist to the fingers.

Another important point is to remember that the length of the arm outstretched is equal to the individual’s height from the shoulders down.

How to Draw an Arm

First, draw in a hand for this arm. The reference picture shows a simple hand design that you can replicate for your drawing.
Once that is drawn and you’ve added any final details, it’s time to get out your pen.
You can go over any lines that will show up in the final image with your pen or a dark pencil. Once that is done, simply go back and erase the lines of the shapes from step 1.
You can draw a second arm to go along with this one, or you can just draw the other arm by itself.
